The Modern Mum Village

We’re not meant to do this alone. It really does take a village, but many of us are without one. My Modern Mum Village gives you the knowledge and support you need with a group of epic mums that will have your back. We dive into our motherhood journey and discover why we partner, parent and are the way we are. More importantly we take the time to figure out what we want motherhood to look like and how we can get it!

Get the care you need, guilt free. You are enough as you are, and you deserve this time for yourself.

Our next round starts the 17th of February 2025. Places will open to those on the waitlist on the 27th of January 2025.

What’s included
  • Weekly Self Exploration Sessions and Weekly Connection Sessions for 2 x 6 week blocks

  • Self Exploration Sessions -> Mondays afternoons at 1pm AEDT. In these sessions we explore different topics and our mind and bodies understanding of them. We look at what we were modelled, what's currently playing out for us and what we want it to look and feel like moving forward. There is also time for you to ask practical questions and get answers that apply to your individual situation.

  • Connection Sessions -> Thursday evenings at 8pm AEDT. In each of these sessions 3 to 4 individuals each week will have the ability to be held and explore what is happening for them somatically (in the body) and systemically (within their family system). The aim of this is for you to be able to meet with what is going on for you, understand it and have tools to live better. Participating in this is 100% optional and self nominated. These sessions go for about 2 hours. You don't have to stay for the whole session or attend them live at all. You can catch the recording at anytime that suits you. You also don't have to attend both sessions each week. You can submit questions to be answered if you can't make the lives.

    • Block One will run from the 17th February to the 27th March 2025

    • Block Two will run from the 28th April to the 5th June 2025

  • 6 months of community and support - you'll have access to all recorded content as well as the community until the 17th of July 2025

  • The option to add an integration session with B

  • Daily wellness tools and the accountability of the group to keep you on track.

  • Resources and extra support you can access in your own time

  • A community of like-minded people in a super supportive space

  • The option to find your people, this is really what the village is about, support. You can buddy up with another epic woman and really start to be heard and shift your stories.

  • The ability to witness others. Previous villagers state over and over again how this is their favourite aspect of the village simply because so much learning, power and joy comes from being able to witness and learn from others. There is so much learning and power that comes from simply being able to observe others.

Thanks B

Hey B

I just wanted to drop in and say thank you for the MMV.
I’ve been having a really rough time recently with a lot being required of me and subsequently I haven’t been in the village for a good 6 weeks. I just haven’t had the time or capacity for anything more than surviving (which is ironic I guess since I wanted to join the village to figure out how to thrive instead of just survive).
Anyway I dropped the kids off with my mum today and spend a good 5 hours or so making notes from week 1 and catching up on week 2 and 3. I really enjoyed thinking about the nervous system as I have a science background and it just spoke to me. I cried thinking about how to get back into the green zone. My 3.5 year old this week has been reminding to ‘do your deep breaths mummy’ when I’ve been yelling and in the complete overwhelm zone where I feel so out of control of my actions. It was humbling.

I don’t know particularly why I’m writing this to you, except maybe I’m feeling a need to be heard and you feel like a safe space.
Hoping to join the connection session this week but likely on mute as my 20 month old is only sleeping in 30 minute blocks and mostly needs to be held by me or he screams the house down and wakes the big kid.

Thank you for all you do. It’s doing far more than you could ever know.

Life changing

I came to the Village just before the birth of my first baby, and had no idea how truly transformational it would be. Being held by B and the wonderful group of women through my first post partum has honestly set me up for the most amazing start to our life as a family.

My relationship with my partner is tenfold stronger and meant we have been able to navigate the sleepless nights and highs and lows of parenting while our connection only gets deeper.

After years of talk therapy I thought I’d done the work but the Village took me far deeper, even just from witnessing others. Cannot reccomend it enough!!

A whole heap of love and gratitude for The Village ❤️

Oh hot diggity dang, what a gosh darn privilege it was to be a part of the most recent round of the Modern Mum Village. A privilege to be heard and held and an honour to bear witness to others taking up space of their own.

Not gonna lie, I had an emotional hangover for the first two weeks because it got real and deep and epic FAST. But the waters calmed - or maybe I just got better at sailing them - and it was a journey well worth travelling.

I loved the insights, I revelled in the honesty and my little heart soaked up allllll the compassion-and-trauma-informed-language and space holding. I've DIY'd a lot of "the work" over the last few years of parenting, partnering and motherhood, and it was bloody lovely to dive deep with a community of like minded souls. I joined the village when I was feeling particularly lonely and isolated (having moved to a tiny rural town) and the connection facilitated by B and the interwebs was truly heart-healing at a time when I really needed it.

So many of my relationships benefitted which was unexpected but very welcome. And regularly through the round, I would debrief with my husband and we would wind up in hours-long-conversations sharing our childhood stories, parenting triggers, reflections and revelations. In our current season of "in the trenches with 3 little people", this connection was like gifting us a weekly date night 😅

It truly makes my soul sing to see more and more people opening up to the healing and connection that this kind of "work" allows. I fantasise about a world where all parents and partners can show up for themselves and their families with these tools... and I appreciate that even having the space and mental bandwidth to explore this is a privilege that a lot of others don't have.

But. If you DO have a bit of capacity to get curious, explore the feelings and surrender to what comes up for you... I would highly recommend ❤️❤️

Truly transformational

I came to the village having done bits and pieces of 'the work' but nothing beats the accountability of the village, listening to women speak their truth and having the opportunity to speak your own. It has been truly life changing for me and my family. I have done two village rounds now and absolutely love it. I look forward to each session as the highlight of my week. B is sensational at holding space, offering advice and hitting nails on their heads! I love this juicy, nourishing space she has created so much and reccommend it to any mum that will listen.

The Village You Didn’t Know You Needed

I’ve been fortunate enough to be a part of the Village twice now and I’m certainly not going to miss out on this years.

Leading up to my first round I wasn’t completely sure I needed it as I have incredible mum-friends around me and for the most part, feel quite confident in my mothering abilities.
But I was still drawn to it and holy smokes haven’t I learnt an awful lot about myself and life in general!

Not only do you get the most incredible advice, genuine support and encouragement from B, you also learn soo, soo much from the other Mums! The questions of theirs that you can relate to. The solidarity feeling of all the “ahh, yes, me too”’s that’s happen and the connection and support you get when you share, if you feel called to.

I’m a better Mum, a better partner and a better Me, because of B’s village and I’m eternally grateful for this space and offering.

If you’re feeling unsure or wondering if it’s a worthy investment, especially because it’s for “yourself”, then ask yourself if it would be a worthy investment if it was something “for your kids” or to “save your relationship”?
If the answers yes, then there’s your answer, because alllll of it leads back to what’s best for you, your kids and your relationship.

You won’t be disappointed and you’ll learn things you didn’t even know you needed to, gain some incredible new friendships and of course, extra singing from the magical B.
