Larissa Reinboth is an Australian illustrator, writer, and the Founder of Possum Portraits - a perinatal bereavement care charity that creates keepsake portraits of babies lost too soon. With a Master’s degree in Illustration and lived experience of miscarriage, Larissa brings deep empathy and creative storytelling to families navigating grief. She is a mum to a preschooler and is passionate about using art and story to help children and parents feel seen, supported, and connected during life’s most difficult moments.
Dr. Korie Leigh is a Transpersonal Psychologist, Certified Child Life Specialist, and Professor of Thanatology based in Santa Fe, USA. With over 18 years of experience in pediatric palliative care, private practice, and grief education, Korie specialises in supporting families through serious illness, death, and bereavement. A bereaved mother herself, she brings compassion, clinical insight, and a child-centred approach to all her work - helping grievers of all ages feel validated, understood, and empowered.
Together, Larissa and Korie have created a heartfelt resource to gently guide families through the often-overwhelming terrain of childhood grief, one page at a time.
